Stephanie and Kyle spent the day with me in the ever lovely Deep Creek as we popped around looking at elopement locations. We wandered our way through Swallow Falls State Park first, and found the perfect location for them. Then had dinner and chatted at MoonShadow and finished up the day with quick stroll through Friendsville, MD. It was so lovely to get to meet them both and to actually take the time to get to know one another while also picking the perfect location for the August elopement and capturing some fun steamy woodland engagement shots along the way. Jason and Tonya eloped on top of Marsh Mountain at the Wisp Resort in McHenry, Maryland in February 2022. When I arrived at their suite Jason’s lovely amazing mom was helping Tonya get ready. Once everyone was ready to go we went downstairs to meet up with Jason’s father and head up the mountain in a caravan fashion. The planner picked a lovely spot overlooking the view of Deep Creek lake below and we were off to the races as the wind tried to blow us away. Afterwards we went to a less windy spot to grab some family pictures and pictures of Jason and Tonya as their marriage sunk in and shined through them.
