Lexi, Ian, and Andie had me come to their lovely farm in Damascus, Maryland and capture their love. We took the farm truck up through the land and Lexi, Andie, and I enjoyed the wind in our hair and the gorgeous early fall weather. The farm is Ian’s family’s land so it was super neat to wander around and soak in the full beauty and memories that fill the land. Andie in pure farm dog glory photobombed all day and lived her best life as the star of the show. We bopped from field to field, greeting the various cows along the way. Considering this lovely pair met in veterinary school, I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to celebrate their love and capture their energy. I cannot wait until their May wedding where we will get to hang out with their loved ones and some amazing horses.

Amanda and Jesus flew all the way from Austin, TX to spend the day with me at Rocky Gap State Park in Western Maryland. We wandered our way through the park as we chatted about their upcoming wedding and captured their love for their engagement photos. We had a blast getting to know each other and chatting about travel, life, and ourselves. Thank you universe and Google for sending me these absolutely fabulous humans. Watching how goofy and fun their energy was definitely refilled my cup.

Stephanie and Kyle spent the day with me in the ever lovely Deep Creek as we popped around looking at elopement locations. We wandered our way through Swallow Falls State Park first, and found the perfect location for them. Then had dinner and chatted at MoonShadow and finished up the day with quick stroll through Friendsville, MD. It was so lovely to get to meet them both and to actually take the time to get to know one another while also picking the perfect location for the August elopement and capturing some fun steamy woodland engagement shots along the way. Tonya and Jason recently moved to Maryland, so of course we had to play for their engagement session. We started at Muddy Creek Falls at Swallow Falls State Park and then popped over to the Rock Maze up the road. Although it was an extremely hot fall day we still managed to have a blast and hid in the shade to cool down.

Natalie and John are two of the sweetest humans you would ever meet. They met in school as young kids and have been together ever since. Andrea and Colby showed me around Parkersburg, West Virginia. I got to see where they first met and where Colby proposed. Then we headed over to their house to play in the yard with their vinyl collection and their puppies. Also Colby is a jeweler and designed Andrea’s amazing ring.

Griffin and Kyle reached out to me that they wanted to celebrate their elopement with a photo session at Great Falls National Park. I was super down. We had some delays due to snow however, we finally made the day happen and had a total blast wandering all over the Virginia side of the park.

Ashley and Sean’s engagement session was an utter blast. We escaped to Davis on a hot day where was thankfully 20 degrees cooler. First we stopped in one of my favorite secret spots in Thomas, West Virginia. Then we hopped over to Blackwater Falls State Park and hiked to a waterfall and then we wandered our way up to Lindy Point to watch the sunset. It was a nice little date day for Ashley and Sean wandering around with me. Plus we all were cracking up the whole time. I cannot wait for their October wedding. It’s going to be an utter blast.

Kylie and Tyler were married the day before this session in Ocean City, Maryland. They chose Luray, Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley as their honeymoon adventure. Although snow closed off the usual mountain top adventuring that this area is great for; the valley was warm and wonderful. We adventured a local field with a great view and a nearby tree farm. Then I scooped them downtown to capture the beauty of the Page Theatre.
