Spruce Knob Lake Elopement Photographer | West Virginia Elopement Photographer
Lacy and Ron met many years prior while working at a restaurant together. They built together as she became a beauty queen and a nurse. Finally life slowed down enough that they could tie the knot and what a fun day we had doing so.
We ventured down to Spruce Knob Lake first and grabbed some family photos as we tried to keep an eye on the storm that decided to roll through the same day. Eventually we made our way up to the top of Spruce Knob and got to catch the last hour of the storm that was rolling through. Which gave us the most stunning sunset view as we watched the mist rise back into the sky as Lacy and Ron said their vows. After that we used the remaining light to get some mountain top pictures and the sky opened up perfectly to get some early star photos as well. Which we took full advantage of.

Smoke Hole Resort Wedding Photographer | West Virginia Wedding Photographer | Seneca Rocks, WV Wedding Photographer
Emma and Mason’s September wedding at Smoke Hole Resort in Cabins, West Virginia which is just right down the road from Seneca Rocks and Smoke Hole Caverns was the definition of a fun time!!
Their friends and family surrounded them in love. Grandma knocked it out of the park by making their favorite cheesecake for their wedding cake.
Their families pitched in and helped turn a great view at a lovely place into a stunning time. The decor was on point, the people were most lovely, the food was tasty, even an inflatable screen and video games as a group activity made their appearance as well. The sun was strong, the vibes were vibing, and we all had a blast celebrating the love of these two amazing humans who met as childhood friends that reconnected with age.
Thomas, West Virginia Engagement Photographer | Thomas,WV Wedding Elopement Photographer
Kailee, Cole, and I met up in Downtown Thomas, West Virginia for their engagement shoot. We chatted and explored through the art galleries and stores. Shout out to Creature, Santangelo, Bloom, and to ART IN THOMAS being a fantastic resource.
Afterwards we wandered down to my favorite hidden spot that I don’t recommend without a higher vehicle that has 4-wheel drive or AWD. The road washes out with the rain for sure and the trails are a bit more challenging as well. The nearby Albert Falls, Kennedy Falls, and Douglas Falls. I normally wouldn’t share this info, but the internet exists and people are figuring it out. So, I figure instead I will be helpful so people don’t show up unprepared given the cell service is basically non existent. So helpful links to help you figure out if visiting here is for you, and be mindful you are in an area that isn’t meant to be flooded with people. Don’t be an asshole. Leave no trace. Carpool on nice swimming days, it gets full sometimes. Helpful guide
After our waterfall adventures we made some overlook pitstops on the way home and had ourselves a lovely time playing in the sunset.
Seneca Rocks, West Virginia Engagement Photographer | Seneca Rocks Photographer | Fourth Moon Camp
Addie and Kevin invited me out to take their photos at their campground they are building behind Seneca Rocks, WV called Fourth Moon Camp. We walked through the land and they explained how they hold summer festivals and various climbing and slacklining events. We started our morning where they are getting married at, a beautiful spot overlooking nearby Seneca Rocks. We had a lovely morning wandering about the area, grabbing some breakfast during a brief rainstorm, and just having a blast getting to know each other and chattering about their upcoming wedding.
Dolly Sods Elopement Photographer | West Virginia Elopement Photographer | Davis, WV Wedding Photographer
Peyton and Samuel met in a parking lot on their college campus in 2019 and the rest was history. They got engaged at one of their favorite places, Dolly Sods. Dolly Sods was where they first went on vacation together with Peyton’s parents and sister. In a similar fashion, their elopement consisted of Peyton, Samuel, her parents and sister joining us as we wandered all over the sods together hiking and having a blast. They took me to the spot where Samuel proposed to her and that was where they read their vows to each other.

Emma and Mason have luckily know each other for most of their lives. They were able to reconnect later in life and discovered how well they fit together. We all met up to play around and capture their love up at Bear Rocks at Dolly Sods near Davis, WV. It was a foggy early May day, but that didn’t hold us back from having a blast and enjoying the views. They are getting married in September near Seneca Rocks, WV which is just down the road. Thankfully the fog didn’t cover the view of Seneca Rocks from Dolly Sods.
