Emerson Bromo-Seltzer Tower Engagement Photos| Baltimore, MD | Maryland Couples Engagement Photographer

The Emerson Bromo Seltzer Tower in Baltimore, MD has been on my dream location list for years. So when Meghan and Stephen reached out this past fall that they wanted to do their engagement photos there, I leapt at the opportunity. Stephen is a mechanical engineer, so the fellow nerding was on while we made some awesome art. He and Meghan met in RVA (another one of my favorite cities where all my family is nearby, justtt saying).

The Tower was built in 1911 by Capt. Isaac Emerson and was the tallest building in Baltimore at the time. Capt. Emerson was also known for being the inventor of the headache aid Bromo Seltzer. The clock in the tower was restored in 2017 and is still in operation today. The wooden hands in the images below are some of the original clock face hands that were used.

Meghan was a drama major, so I was able to fulfill another one of my daydreams and use the lights of the Hippodrome Theater in some of their shots as well to marry the session into a perfect telling of their story and new adventure of living in Baltimore together. After this absolutely cup filling session I was able visit my favorite human in Baltimore, MD and take my grandma out to dinner and chat for hours. Which I had missed deeply in my soul.
